Yeni Hikayeler: İspanyol Fotoğraf ve Film Sanatına Yeni Bir Bakış Çağdaş fotoğraf ve film sanatı ispanya’nın yenilikçi kültüründe önemli bir rol oynamaktadır. 20 ila 30 yıl içerisinde diktatör yönetimindeki kapalı bir toplumun çok yönlü ve çağdaş bir kültüre kavuşmasında böyle bir rol oynayan bu sanat dallarının en önemli temsilcileriyle ilgili bilgileri ve sanatçıların eserlerini içeren kitapta 213 adet renkli fotoğraf kullanılmış. Nuevas Historias: A New View of Spanish Photography and Video Art Contemporary photography and video art have played a substantial role in Spain's avant-garde culture; in just a few decades, a closed society under dictatorship was transformed into a multifaceted country in which contemporary culture enjoys a strong position. The sociocultural movement La Movida, led by film director Pedro Almodóvar, released a wave of suppressed creativity and tested the boundaries of new freedoms, while Spanish culture of the 1980s both captured the intellectual currents of the rest of Europe and also revitalized its national heritage. With 213 color photos, this book collects works addressing issues of Spanish identity, heritage, and history by 31 contemporary artists, including Ignasi Aballi, Sergio Belinchon, Carmen Calvo, Alicia Framis, Dionisio Gonzalez, Angel Marcos, Aitor Ortiz, Montserrat Soto, and Valentin Vallhonrat.
